Went on my vacation with the hubby to Hilton Head, SC for a week and I'm back!! Enjoyed it so much and can't wait for our next vacation! Hopefully I will be able to update this blog more now that I am back. WhooHoo!

P.S. I started scrapbooking AGAIN. That's what I'm talking about!

So What Have We Been Up to Lately?

Yes blog, I have been missing in action again. Had to much stuff going on that I didn't have time to come on here and post. So what have I been up to lately? For one I accepted a new position a couple of months ago, finished up taking my classes for that semester, moved to a new place all while trying to keep my sanity in place! Things are starting to calm down a little bit so I thought I would post again. I can't wait until next month when I get to take a week's vacation to Hilton Head!! Whoop Whoop! Will definitely need the relaxation from the beach and the resort. Can't wait~~
I had to post the picture above because I thought it was so cute how Saks curled up on Mark's lap to go to sleep. He just started doing that to us recently laying on our laps. Ahhhhh, my little old man is so cute...

Still Scrapbooking..Well Kinda

I've still been ORDERING scrapbook supplies..LOL..have not had the time to scrapbook in a very long time. However, when I get a chance I look at blogs, Pinterest, etc and get new ideas, and then I order the stuff I need but don't get a chance to use it! Uggggh...I digress..Hopefully when things calm down in my life (HA!) I will be able to put a little focus on my favorite hobby. Ooooh speaking of hobby, maybe I will go to Hobby Lobby today? LOL...goodness..

Downtown Tampa

I love driving through downtown. I have only worked in a building there once a loooooong time ago when I was 18 at a temp agency and I was on teh 84th floor and I remember being so scared because the building still had so many floors to go up. And all I kept thinking about was "Man, if this elevator breaks down, that's ALOT of stairs to have to go up and down!" LOL. Anyway, it's something about downtown that I love and it doesn't matter what city or state I'm in I just like driving through it. Maybe it's all the buildings and the hustle and bustle of all the people walking up and down the street with a million cars and taxis and buses, etc. Okay so maybe I DO know why!! LOL..

Not as Easy As Some Make It Seem

We have been on a journey of trying to become a family on our own for almost a year now. I just recently had surgery to make sure that everything was a go and we could finally start with the help of RE doctors. This will be our first month and although every woman wants it to happen on the first try, I have been down this road before and know that sometimes it takes more than one try. With that being said I'm human and I hope that it happens the first time!! LOL But if it doesnt, I'm willing to take it and continue on with our pursuit of becoming a family...

Much Needed Weekend

Mark and I joined my parents for a much needed weekend getaway in Orlando. Here we are at lunch with the parents and then afterwards we went swimming in the pool, watched movies, etc and relaxed. Can't wait for our long vacation that we are taking in October!! Can't get here fast enough!

Finally Done with Finals!!

As I am sitting here waiting for my sleep to come down because I am so used to staying up late and studying, I am realizing for the first time that I am done with all of my school work for this semester! I am so relieved! This was the hardest semester that I have had in a LONG TIME. Taking three classes while working full-time and trying to have a life with my husband was so stressful these past 16 weeks! But I made it through (thank you hubby for your patience!) Now I only get to relax for a few days because I have another class starting in a week! Whew..okay going to try to get some sleep...

Been a Long time

FEELING LIKE A DIVA!!

It's been a long time since I have blogged lately. Working full-time and taking three classes and trying to have a life on the side has taken its toll. I am actually taking a much needed 20 min break to write something on this blog seeing that it has been so long since I have been on here. Well hopefully I will be able to start blogging again on a regular basis soon since my three classes will be done in a couple of weeks and I can also start scrapbooking again! Whoop Whoop! I'm in the Mood for Scrapbooking Again! Whoop Whoop!

So today I'm in the mood for some scrapbooking and blogging, so after I posted the blog below this one, I started going through my stash and working on my Project Life..I used the pictures from yesterday's visit to Panera Bread with friends and also a template from Cathy Z that you can find here. And I love it!



Okay so I took the pictures with my phone but you get the idea of the look hopefully!

So yesterday the girls and I went to Panera Bread

They have so many new things on the menu now since I have been there that I didn't know what to choose from!

The girls ended up getting something that smelled and looked so yummy!

And I ended up with my old backup plan which is half a sandwhich with chips and a drink! Next time I will be ready!

First Post for 2012!

Yep,

I have been missing in action on my blog. Didn't really blog about too much last year because I was just too busy. I did manage to work on my Project life book.



Was able to buy some new supplies



And I was able to spend some quality time with my husband and my fur baby :)


This year I am going to try to blog a little more because I want to take more pictures this year so that I can start filling up my books :)

Yep, I have neglected you again my poor poor blog. Thought I would do an update to what I am currently doing but again LIFE has prevented me from staying on top of it. OH WELL..I will try to post on here whenever I can. Hubby and I had fun this weekend in South Carolina at a Hilton Head Resort. MUST COME BACK SOON! Enjoyed the weather, the beach and everything including actually RELAXING...

Next on the Agenda

Okay so AFTER the baby shower, I had to put all of my focus on my upcoming nuptials :)..My good friends, Julie, Karen and Paula helped me out tremedously with everything down to the detail of keeping me calm on my wedding day! (Whoo!) So the first thing we wanted to do was take Engagement Pictures. Karen did such a good job of capturing the day! I am forever thankful :)

...on my blog that is..I know, I know it's been a long time since I have updated and as you can see I have not been on my blog in over 3 months because I have had so many interesting, exciting, EXHAUSTING, EXILLERATING! things happening in my life for over the past few months...Let's see if I can catch you up a little bit.... So let's go back a little bit...in July I planned my niece's baby shower party







Had such a good time at the shower, but the PLANNING was OH MY GOSH STRESSFULL!!!!! to the 10th power! It was my first shower that I ever planned and my niece and I are happy with how it turned out :)

I'm Engaged!!!! My Engagement Dinner was...

Incredible!! Fantastic!! I enjoyed it SO MUCH!! I wanted to cry but the air conditioning was drying out my contacts!! LOL But my fiance did a wonderful job!! :) But the dinner was wonderful and after we were finished eating Mark got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife and would I marry him and I said YES!!

He surprised me by picking me up in a 2011 Cadillac Sports Car (I kept looking for his car in the parking lot LOL)





then he took me to the airport to a restaurant called CK's (Which has AMAZING food!!) and also the restaurant SPINS AROUND while you are eating (so cool!)and it's a slow spin so you really don't feel it at all, the only way that you know it is spinning is if you look down at the floor you can see it rotating and then when you look outside you start at one place and while you are eating you get to see all of tampa, some of clearwater and also around the howard franklin bridge, oh and all of the airport. It was neat seeing all of the planes taking off (I'm glad I didn't see them coming in or the dinner would have went a much different way! LOL seeing how I am afraid of planes!!)

The next part I was not expecting at all..after he proposes, he puts then gift on the table wrapped in gold wrapping paper and I'm thinking "Oh my goodness what is this?" and he tells me to open it and it was a diamond necklace!! I had lost my necklace he bought for me years ago and I had felt so bad when I told him about it because it meant so much to me when he gave it to me, not having a clue that he went out and bought me another one to replace it!! My heart was just melting by then (didn't I tell you, just wonderful isn't he??)

The Men in My Life

I love these two pictures of Mark and Saks!! Saks is looking so intently at Mark while he is talking to him! I like when he turns his head to the side like "What do you mean?" LOL these pictures are too cute!! Saks has really fallen in love with Mark, he greets him at the door and starts jumping up and down wagging his tail furiously because he is SO happy to see him! Ahhhh, my "little" man and my "big" man..gotta love it


I tried the polaroid feature on my android phone to take these pictures of Saks, he was so sleepy when I took them that I think he barely looked up as the camera flashed...
